Dear Resident,

At Lincoln Military Housing, our mission is to provide outstanding management and maintenance services to military families. As part of our decade-long, public-private partnership with the Department of Defense, we consider it our duty to improve the quality of life for those who live in our communities.

Recent media reports have been very troubling to me and my team. We at Lincoln Military Housing want to assure you that we take those reports seriously and we are doing all that we can to address all maintenance concerns brought to our attention, including those identified in the reports.

You should know that maintenance teams were already working on several of the issues prior to any reports. In particular, we immediately addressed the reports of isolated water leaks in Norwich Manor just as we would any maintenance call, and then followed up to finalize all repairs to the home in question. During those repairs we ensured that the care and comfort of our residents was our first priority. As we have for other homes in the past and will continue to do in the future, we also engaged certified inspectors who confirmed that there were no unsafe conditions in the home.

Given our maintenance teams’ training and commitment to serving you, I know that all maintenance issues will continue to be addressed promptly and completely. In light of these recent concerns, we are implementing a program to enhance our services to you. Accordingly, I have ordered a comprehensive maintenance review and remedy program at all Lincoln Military Housing in the Hampton Roads region. Concurrent with this review, we reaffirm our commitment to communicate with you directly and more effectively. As you know, we routinely seek and respond to resident feedback through surveys, focus groups and correspondence. You may also reach us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-888-578-4141, or at http://www.lincolnmilitary.com.

As the executive responsible for overseeing the development and management of more than 4,300 military residences in the Hampton Roads region, I want you to know that I care deeply about providing you and your family a safe and secure home. You deserve nothing less.
Thank you for your service to the United States of America.

Sincerely,

Jarl Bliss
President
