[Norfolk, VA] – Lincoln Military Housing today announced an update to its maintenance protocol that will involve an industrial hygienist inspecting all remediation work performed by subcontractors. This extra step in the maintenance process will ensure that all work performed by subcontractors is up to Lincoln’s rigid quality control standards.

“Thanks to an alert resident, we identified poor quality work performed by a subcontractor in one of our homes” stated Jarl Bliss, president of Lincoln Military Housing. “We are extremely appreciative for this resident bringing this to our attention. We care about our families and every time we become aware of something wrong, we correct it immediately. From this point forward, all remediation work conducted by subcontractors will be inspected by an independent third party industrial hygienist.”

“Lincoln is making sure the maintenance in this home and at all our properties is handled professionally and completely,” Bliss continued. “We are going to have all work that this subcontractor performed re-inspected and our entire team will keep working until all repairs are completed. The comfort and well being of our residents remains our first priority.”
